Expectation

…The dream that you wish will come true…

So… its been a while.  I’m not the kind of person who typically shares my real life details with those in my Second Life.  This is both for my own safety and because I don’t believe anyone will actually care.  In this case however, after being gone for almost three months, I felt this time it was warranted.  I made commitments to blog for a designer and an event just before I disappeared and I was not able to fulfill those promises as promptly or completely as I would have liked.  I’d like to think that I have a good reason for this though.  The fact is, I’m pregnant.

Without sharing too many unnecessary details, I will say that this has been a long awaited and desperately desired development.  There were complications and the very real possibility that this wouldn’t happen for me.  Needless to say, I’m being more then a little careful and that has led to my disappearance.  I hope that I can redeem myself to those who have given me a chance to be a part of their amazing work and that some of you will share my joy with me.  I promise not to bore with all the details of this journey I’m on and I will continue to strive for a balance between my two lives.  Thank you for letting me share my news with you all.
